International League of Website Designers
Official Website
Welcome to the International League of Website Designers, known affectionately as "the League". My name is Steve, and I founded the League in June of 2003. Originally, my plan for the League was to create a place like the W3C, but I realized all to well that there would never be another place so grand. So, I decided that a league where designers can come to discuss some issues that the W3C overlooks would be much more suitable. I also decided that a welcoming starting point for new designers would be nice, too. So now there are places for everyone. We hope to recieve input from as many designers as possible, since without them we'll be nothing. Any league with only two people is never going to last, or get anything accomplished. So, we hope that anyone who comes here will tell all of their friends who are designers, or wish to become designers, about the league. Smart people in large groups can accomplish more than any one of those people, no matter how smart that one may be.
We now have a sliding menu and a counter (which will be up soon!), so we will no longer except them. Thank you to everyone who helped. Unfortunately, no one submitted one that was what we were looking for, so we found one on our own. Therefore, no one will receive an honorable ranking. Keep a watch for anything here that we may need. We'll give honorable rankings to those who submit the winning ones!
